Everyone sits in a circle. One person is the “squirter” for the 1st round and given a spray bottle of water. This player then announces a topic, such as “Rides at Disney” or “Animals” etc. However, they also secretly think of one item in that category.
The squirter goes around the inside of the circle to each player, who must quickly name an item fitting the topic. You can choose the rules for when players can be soaked. Eg.
- If a player takes longer than so many seconds to answer (eg 4 seconds)
- Duplicate something already said,
If the player names the item chosen by the squirter, they become the new topic selector and squirter. Can be made to fit any group you are working with.

Squirt Game… what a unfortunate name
Oh quite possibly… the fun really starts when you look at how language has changed over the years and how it varies between countries. Bum bags and Fanny bags are the same thing, but in the UK the latter means something totally different and is much ruder than US colloquial usage, so it’s called a bum bag which is apparently ruder in the US. The phrase ‘squirt’ has also been used as a derogatory term for for somebody smaller and/or younger.
