Created for games evening themed around Canada. Simple game which the Girl Guides liked playing.
Give groups of 6 a piece of paper, one red and one black crayon and a dice. When ready start throwing the dice and the first person to throw:
6 – draws a flagpole
5 – draws the outline of the flag
4 – colours one red bar
3 – colours another bar
2 – draws the maple leaf outline
1 – colours the maple leaf.
Teams have to jump up and scream “Canada” when they were finished.
Ed: There’s an old game that I remember called ‘Flounders’ that uses the same principle where you had to assemble a fish depending on your dice roll. But it shows how easy it is to adapt the game to your own needs.
