An alternative version is opposites. Keep to two simple commands. In football training it could be something like “head the ball” or “catch the ball”. But players must to do the opposite action to the one that was called. Standing in line or in a circle (in a circle the leader can more easily randomly choose players) the leader picks a player and throws the ball calling out the action. If the player succeeds by doing the opposite they stay in the game. If they fail and do the stated action they sit out.
