Two people turning the rope and one person in the middle.

“Raspberry,
strawberry,
apple jam tart.
Tell me the name of your sweetheart.”

At this point the rope is spun very fast while the alphabet is chanted. The person skipping has to name a boy, preferably in their school class or year (if there are boys) that begin with the letter on which they trip on the rope.
